Attendance at Share the Dignity’s Global Period Poverty forum in October 2022 will be a fairly costly proposition ($795 AUD for in-person registration, and $295 AUD for remote-only registration.) However, those from organizations facing financial constraints, as well as students, may be eligible for scholarships for remote attendance.
The ICPD25 summit was held in Nairobi earlier this month. Menstrual health and hygiene played a relatively modest official role in the summit, but the fact that menstruation was on the agenda at all represents progress. Moreover, the presence of MHM advocates at the summit, in addition to a pre-conference event focused specifically on menstrual health and hygiene, provided networking and coalition-building opportunities for those who were able to attend.
